Arden York - Paralegal
Arden brings their passion for the law and helping people to everything they do at the firm.
They believe everyone deserves vigorous representation, whether they are going through a divorce or facing felony charges. It is this belief that puts them in lockstep with the principles of teamwork and compassion embodied at Otto & Steiner Law, S.C. They appreciate being part of a firm that enthusiastically collaborates to ensure each client has the very best legal counsel.
For Arden, the most rewarding aspect of their work is when a client feels they are receiving the zealous representation they deserve. Lessening the anxiety and stress inherent to legal challenges is an integral part of their work as a paralegal. They continue to hone their skills as a senior philosophy major at the University of Baltimore.
Prior to joining Otto & Steiner Law, S.C., they worked in Baltimore’s Federal Public Defender’s Office. This experience has helped them develop a well-tested and resilient predisposition for helping clients walk through difficult, life-changing legal procedures.
When not working or studying, Arden enjoys being a newlywed with Sara. They also appreciate reading, writing, running, and spending time outdoors.
Nate Liedl – Paralegal
The nuances that make every case unique are what attracts Nate to working in family law. Emotions and other dynamics make each situation challenging and exciting.
Knowing legal issues can be stressful, he works to alleviate some of this anxiety by keeping clients informed and aware of each step in the process. Helping a highly contested case be resolved with a fair settlement instead of a contentious court battle is particularly rewarding.
The philosophy at Otto & Steiner Law, S.C. aligns with Nate’s belief in the value of teamwork. Although cases may be assigned to a specific attorney and paralegal, the entire office functions as a team and helps each other wherever needed. The firm’s mix of veteran attorneys with years of experience and newer attorneys with fresh ideas benefits both the team and clients.
When not working on divorce, custody and placement, and post-divorce matters, Nate enjoys living in Lake Hallie with his fiancée, Mandy, her two boys, their chihuahua, Poquito, and two fish named Skittles and Twitch. They enjoy watching Vikings football and Twins and Brewers baseball games. Nate also runs a non-profit organization, Win4Jax, created in honor of his son, Jaxon, to benefit child victims of crime.
